CTA Tranzit is an application for seeing the arrival times of Chicago Tranzit Buses. It is easily searched to select the route and stop. The Arrival Times shown are Real Time.

How long do I have to wait for the next bus? When should I leave to catch the bus and not wait outside long outside in the rain or cold? The bus is almost here, should I take the bus and save $10 in cab fare? Too long a wait, should I just take a cab?

FAQ for CTA Tranzit:
1) Cannot download app.
Most likely cause is the app limit on the initial Palm Pre and Palm Pixi. This can be corrected by updating you Palm device to Ver 1.3.5 which no longer has an app limit.
2)Application seems to freeze with the spinning wheel showing.
CTA Tranzit requires a data connection using EVDO, 1x or WIFI (Pre). We depend on data from the CTA BusTracker system. If the spinning wheel continues to show and you have a data connection you can hit the refresh button on the Arrivals page to try again or swipe "back" button and select route, direction or stop again.
